  • Djibo Art

Each of the businesses above have been carefully handpicked to ensure that their ethos and vision matches that of the centre. We are a team that work closely together to ensure that our customers have an experience to remember. As customers walk through our gates and enter through our magical garden they are met with the bold statement that is our pink caravan, this is the creator of the centre’s main creative space, a fully working craft and Art studio, next to which is our educational garden where you and your children or grandchildren can learn how to recognise and grow herbs, fruit and vegetables and also use them as inspiration and base for some exciting Afro Caribbean Art with one of our resident artists Roland from Djibo Art. Close by is also our outside kitchen and dining area where You can have a sit and something to eat and drink from The Thistles tearoom.

Learn Through Play

Moving through the garden you come across Anne Roberts Art Studio, a warm and welcoming face greets you as she creates stunning art with the use of beeswax and a blowtorch, yes a blowtourch – she is on hand to teach, demonstrate and let you have a go at the captivating and addictive art form known as Encaustic art.

All of this can be experienced whilst the background the sound of children’s laughter is never far away from the Little Owls day Nursery who provide care throughout the year for preschool children and babies.

Of an evening the centre transforms into a hussle and bussle of Gymnasts coming and going from the popular and successful Peterborough Gymnastics Academy.

I could write about The Thistles all day, however whey don’t you just come along and experience it for yourself?
