North Bretton Judo Club is a friendly club with senior training on Tuesday 2000-2130 and junior training on Thursday 1900-2030. We welcome all ages and abilities with training tailored to your individual abilities. All our coaches are fully insured, and have had Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. The benefits of Judo are well documented both physically and mentally. Improving general physical fitness strength and stamina in a fun social setting. As a sport it has been around in its current form since 1882 when it was developed from jujitsu and wrestling. The literal translation being Ju-Gentle do-way/path “The Gentle Way/path.” It is a truly international sport and been an Olympic sport for over 50 years.
